What type of conveyor system are you considering? i.e. Distribution, manufacturing, production, bulk handling (coal, stone, stand, etc), stock piling, etc.
What is your production rate required in conveyor running speed in meters per minute, parts/goods moved per minute/hour/days or tons per hour/cubic meter per hour?
What type of product will be conveyed on the conveyor system?
What is the heaviest load the conveyor system will need to carry e.g. weight per unit/per meter, bulk density of product?
What is the dimensions of the largest and smallest product intended to be conveyed on the conveyor system?
If the conveyor system will be required to change elevation, we will need to know the in-feed/starting height and the out-feed/ending height.
Are there any unique or unusual requirements? i.e. High frequency stop and starts, extreme temperatures, dust, moisture, corrosive environment, etc.

Can Conveyco design a conveyor system to fit within my existing facility?
Every conveyor system is a custom solution engineered to meet the customer's particular needs. Each is designed to maximize the utilization of available space, regardless of its volume and configuration. Conveyco's design staff has the advantage of a historical background originating since 1977. Our most experienced design engineer and Production Director each have 24 years of "hands-on" experience.
How would Conveyco's Experience benefit a client?
After decades of tested and proven multi million rand projects, we don't need to use our client's as "guinea pigs".
Does Conveyco sell direct or through agents?
The majority of Conveyco’s products are sold directly to the clients. In addition, we provide conveying equipment to many qualified agents and systems integrators.

Which industries does Conveyco supply?
Conveyco supplies a variety of conveyors to the textile industry, food industry, wine industry, automotive industry, poultry industry, fruit industry, fish industry, olive industry, bottling industry, baking & confectionery industries, carton distribution & pallet handling industries. We also manufacture elevators, goods lifts, scissor lifts, etc. We are not bound to any specific industry.
Does Conveyco offer a design services?
Conveyco’s design office provides system designs and layouts that meet the customers’ requirements. The customer is supplied with general arrangement drawings for each project we undertake. Only after the customer has placed their order will the design office produce the design and manufacturing drawings for the required project.
Does Conveyco manufacture the conveyors?
Conveyco has a modern 3900m² facility used for the manufacture and maintenance of conveyor systems and components. Conveyco manufactures almost every component for the conveyors, e.g. bearings, rollers, pulleys etc. When a bought out item like a special chain is discontinued, we will make it ourselves.
Does Conveyco offer installation?
Conveyco does offer installation for its own products as well as those material-handling products manufactured by others – from a single piece to a complete conveying system. Conveyco works in conjunction with electrical and mechanical contractors to offer turnkey installations. We install throughout South Africa as well as internationally.
Where are your premises located?
Conveyco is located in Blackheath, Cape Town, South Africa, but our service is national. 85% of our work is out of the Cape Province. We export internationally as well and offer a limited guarantee/service on these items.
Can I request a visit by an experienced member of the sales team?
Yes, we would be more than happy to visit you at your site to discuss your individual requirements at any time.
Do you provide Commissioning?
Yes, commissioning is done after installation at the client's premises; this is part of our service we offer.
What are your payment terms?
Negotiable! Before we start any new project, we propose what should suite the application and discuss payment terms with the customer to ensure that we can achieve an acceptable agreement.
What guarantee is offered?
Conveyco offer 6 to 12 month guarantee, depending on duty cycle.
What after sales support is offered?
We offer a national after sales service, irrespective the age of the conveyor or conveyor system. We have several installations where equipment is still fully operational after 20 years.
Does Conveyco offer maintenance?
Yes, this can be discussed with the customer to draw up a maintenance contract to meet their requirements. Conveyco has regional maintenance facilities in Johannesburg, Durban & Cape Town. All the other areas are serviced from one of the above-mentioned facilities.
